- 1 Kings 11 1:47 - And moreover the king's servants came to bless our lord king David, saying , God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the bed.
וגמ־באו עבדי המלך לברך את־אדנינו המלך דוד לאמר ייטב אלהיך את־שׁם שׁלמה משׁמך ויגדל את־כסאו מכסאך וישׁתחו המלך על־המשׁכב - 1 Kings 11 1:37 - As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.
כאשׁר היה יהוה עמ־אדני המלך כן יהי עמ־שׁלמה ויגדל את־כסאו מכסא אדני המלך דוד - Isaiah 23 14:9 - Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming : it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth ; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
