- Deuteronomy 5 15:7 - If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother :
כי־יהיה בך אביון מאחד אחיך באחד שׁעריך בארצך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא תאמץ את־לבבך ולא תקפץ את־ידך מאחיך האביון - Deuteronomy 5 18:6 - And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned , and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose ;
וכי־יבא הלוי מאחד שׁעריך מכל־ישׂראל אשׁר־הוא גר שׁם ובא בכל־אות נפשׁו אל־המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה - 2 Samuel 10 15:2 - And Absalom rose up early , and stood beside the way of the gate : and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said , Of what city art thou? And he said , Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
