- 1 Chronicles 13 28:8 - Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God : that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.
ועתה לעיני כל־ישׂראל קהל־יהוה ובאזני אלהינו שׁמרו ודרשׁו כל־מצות יהוה אלהיכם למען תירשׁו את־הארץ הטובה והנחלתם לבניכם אחריכם עד־עולם - Deuteronomy 5 5:33 - Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live , and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess .
בכל־הדרך אשׁר צוה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם תלכו למען תחיון וטוב לכם והארכתם ימים בארץ אשׁר תירשׁון - Ezekiel 26 33:26 - Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife : and shall ye possess the land ?
עמדתם על־חרבכם עשׂיתן תועבה ואישׁ את־אשׁת רעהו טמאתם והארץ תירשׁו - Ezekiel 26 33:25 - Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD ; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood : and shall ye possess the land ?
לכן אמר אליהם כה־אמר אדני יהוה על־הדם תאכלו ועינכם תשׂאו אל־גלוליכם ודם תשׁפכו והארץ תירשׁו - Leviticus 3 20:24 - But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey : I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
ואמר לכם אתם תירשׁו את־אדמתם ואני אתננה לכם לרשׁת אתה ארץ זבת חלב ודבשׁ אני יהוה אלהיכם אשׁר־הבדלתי אתכם מנ־העמים
