- 1 Samuel 9 11:6 - And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
ותצלח רוח־אלהים על־שׁאול בשׁמעו את־הדברים האלה ויחר אפו מאד - 2 Samuel 10 1:12 - And they mourned , and wept , and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel ; because they were fallen by the sword.
ויספדו ויבכו ויצמו עד־הערב על־שׁאול ועל־יהונתן בנו ועל־עם יהוה ועל־בית ישׂראל כי נפלו בחרב - 1 Chronicles 13 12:20 - As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
וממנשׁה נפלו על־דויד בבאו עמ־פלשׁתים על־שׁאול למלחמה ולא עזרם כי בעצה שׁלחהו סרני פלשׁתים לאמר בראשׁינו יפול אל־אדניו שׁאול - 2 Samuel 10 1:17 - And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son :
ויקנן דוד את־הקינה הזאת על־שׁאול ועל־יהונתן בנו דָּוִד David David קוּן Lament, mourning woman [8787] קִינָה Lamentation שָׁאוּל Saul, Shaul יְהוֹנָתָן Jonathan בֵּן son Afflicted, age, (Ahoh-.. - 1 Chronicles 13 10:3 - And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers .
ותכבד המלחמה על־שׁאול וימצאהו המורים בקשׁת ויחל מנ־היורים
