- Genesis 1 37:34 - And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.
ויקרע יעקב שׂמלתיו וישׂם שׂק במתניו ויתאבל על־בנו ימים רבים - 2 Kings 12 1:8 - And they answered him, He was an hairy man , and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said , It is Elijah the Tishbite.
