- 1 Kings 11 2:5 - Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew , and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
וגם אתה ידעת את אשׁר־עשׂה לי יואב בנ־צרויה אשׁר עשׂה לשׁני־שׂרי צבאות ישׂראל לאבנר בנ־נר ולעמשׂא בנ־יתר ויהרגם וישׂם דמי־מלחמה בשׁלם ויתן דמי מלחמה בחגרתו אשׁר במתניו ובנעלו אשׁר ברגליו - 2 Samuel 10 3:20 - So Abner came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. And David made Abner and the men that were with him a feast.
ויבא אבנר אל־דוד חברון ואתו עשׂרים אנשׁים ויעשׂ דוד לאבנר ולאנשׁים אשׁר־אתו משׁתה - 2 Samuel 10 3:30 - So Joab and Abishai his brother slew Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahel at Gibeon in the battle.
ויואב ואבישׁי אחיו הרגו לאבנר על אשׁר המית את־עשׂהאל אחיהם בגבעון במלחמה - 2 Samuel 10 3:9 - So do God to Abner, and more also , except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
