- Malachi 39 3:13 - Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say , What have we spoken so much against thee?
חזקו עלי דבריכם אמר יהוה ואמרתם מה־נדברנו עליך - Joshua 6 2:14 - And the men answered her, Our life for yours , if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.
ויאמרו לה האנשׁים נפשׁנו תחתיכם למות אם לא תגידו את־דברנו זה והיה בתת־יהוה לנו את־הארץ ועשׂינו עמך חסד ואמת - Numbers 4 21:7 - Therefore the people came to Moses, and said , We have sinned , for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
ויבא העם אל־משׁה ויאמרו חטאנו כי־דברנו ביהוה ובך התפלל אל־יהוה ויסר מעלינו את־הנחשׁ ויתפלל משׁה בעד העם - 2 Samuel 10 12:18 - And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died . And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead : for they said , Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice : how will he then vex himself , if we tell him that the child is dead ?
ויהי ביום השׁביעי וימת הילד ויראו עבדי דוד להגיד לו כי־מת הילד כי אמרו הנה בהיות הילד חי דברנו אליו ולא־שׁמע בקולנו ואיך נאמר אליו מת הילד ועשׂה רעה - Exodus 2 14:12 - Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying , Let us alone , that we may serve the Egyptians ? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
הלא־זה הדבר אשׁר דברנו אליך במצרים לאמר חדל ממנו ונעבדה את־מצרים כי טוב לנו עבד את־מצרים ממתנו במדבר
