- 1 Kings 11 13:6 - And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again . And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again , and became as it was before.
ויען המלך ויאמר אל־אישׁ האלהים חל־נא את־פני יהוה אלהיך והתפלל בעדי ותשׁב ידי אלי ויחל אישׁ־האלהים את־פני יהוה ותשׁב יד־המלך אליו ותהי כבראשׁנה - 2 Chronicles 14 6:26 - When the heaven is shut up , and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;

וישׁלח ישׁעיהו בנ־אמוץ אל־חזקיהו לאמר כה־אמר יהוה אלהי ישׂראל אשׁר התפללת אלי אל־סנחרב מלכ־אשׁור שׁמעתי - 2 Chronicles 14 6:24 - And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy , because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house ;
ואמ־ינגף עמך ישׂראל לפני אויב כי יחטאו־לך ושׁבו והודו את־שׁמך והתפללו והתחננו לפניך בבית הזה - 2 Chronicles 14 6:34 - If thy people go out to war against their enemies by the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray unto thee toward this city which thou hast chosen , and the house which I have built for thy name ;
