- Genesis 1 37:9 - And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said , Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
ויחלם עוד חלום אחר ויספר אתו לאחיו ויאמר הנה חלמתי חלום עוד והנה השׁמשׁ והירח ואחד עשׂר כוכבים משׁתחוים לי - Psalms 19 136:9 - The moon and stars to rule by night : for his mercy endureth for ever.
את־הירח וכוכבים לממשׁלות בלילה כי לעולם חסדו יָרֵחַ Moon כּוֹכָב Star(-gazer) מֶמְשָׁלָה Dominion, government, p.. לַיִל (mid-)night (season) חֵסֵד Favour, good deed(-line.. עוֹלָם Alway(-s), ancient (tim.. - Deuteronomy 5 4:19 - And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

לא־יהיה־לך עוד השׁמשׁ לאור יומם ולנגה הירח לא־יאיר לך והיה־לך יהוה לאור עולם ואלהיך לתפארתך - Joel 29 2:31 - The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come .
