- Song of Solomon 22 5:6 - I opened to my beloved ; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone : my soul failed when he spake : I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer .
פתחתי אני לדודי ודודי חמק עבר נפשׁי יצאה בדברו בקשׁתיהו ולא מצאתיהו קראתיו ולא ענני - 1 Samuel 9 17:14 - And David was the youngest : and the three eldest followed Saul.
ודוד הוא הקטן ושׁלשׁה הגדלים הלכו אחרי שׁאול - 1 Samuel 9 24:22 - And David sware unto Saul. And Saul went home ; but David and his men gat them up unto the hold.
וישׁבע דוד לשׁאול וילך שׁאול אל־ביתו ודוד ואנשׁיו עלו על־המצודה - Song of Solomon 22 6:3 - I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
