- 1 Chronicles 13 10:7 - And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled , and that Saul and his sons were dead , then they forsook their cities, and fled : and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
ויראו כל־אישׁ ישׂראל אשׁר־בעמק כי נסו וכי־מתו שׁאול ובניו ויעזבו עריהם וינסו ויבאו פלשׁתים וישׁבו בהם - Judges 7 2:12 - And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger .
ויעזבו את־יהוה אלהי אבותם המוציא אותם מארץ מצרים וילכו אחרי אלהים אחרים מאלהי העמים אשׁר סביבותיהם וישׁתחוו להם ויכעסו את־יהוה - 2 Samuel 10 5:21 - And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.
