- 1 Samuel 9 27:11 - And David saved neither man nor woman alive , to bring tidings to Gath, saying , Lest they should tell on us, saying , So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines.
ואישׁ ואשׁה לא־יחיה דוד להביא גת לאמר פנ־יגדו עלינו לאמר כה־עשׂה דוד וכה משׁפטו כל־הימים אשׁר ישׁב בשׂדה פלשׁתים - Ezra 15 8:31 - Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem : and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy , and of such as lay in wait by the way.
ונסעה מנהר אהוא בשׁנים עשׂר לחדשׁ הראשׁון ללכת ירושׁלם ויד־אלהינו היתה עלינו ויצילנו מכף אויב ואורב על־הדרך - Exodus 2 5:3 - And they said , The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go , we pray thee, three days ' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God ; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.
ויאמרו אלהי העברים נקרא עלינו נלכה נא דרך שׁלשׁת ימים במדבר ונזבחה ליהוה אלהינו פנ־יפגענו בדבר או בחרב - 2 Kings 12 4:9 - And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.
ותאמר אל־אישׁה הנה־נא ידעתי כי אישׁ אלהים קדושׁ הוא עבר עלינו תמיד - 1 Chronicles 13 13:2 - And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:
