- Nehemiah 16 13:1 - On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people ; and therein was found written , that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God for ever ;
ביום ההוא נקרא בספר משׁה באזני העם ונמצא כתוב בו אשׁר לא־יבוא עמני ומאבי בקהל האלהים עד־עולם - Jeremiah 24 34:15 - And ye were now turned , and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour ; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name :
ותשׁבו אתם היום ותעשׂו את־הישׁר בעיני לקרא דרור אישׁ לרעהו ותכרתו ברית לפני בבית אשׁר־נקרא שׁמי עליו - Jeremiah 24 25:29 - For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished ? Ye shall not be unpunished : for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
כי הנה בעיר אשׁר נקרא־שׁמי עליה אנכי מחל להרע ואתם הנקה תנקו לא תנקו כי חרב אני קרא על־כל־ישׁבי הארץ נאם יהוה צבאות - Isaiah 23 48:1 - Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
שׁמעו־זאת בית־יעקב הנקראים בשׁם ישׂראל וממי יהודה יצאו הנשׁבעים בשׁם יהוה ובאלהי ישׂראל יזכירו לא באמת ולא בצדקה - Psalms 19 80:18 - So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
