- Esther 17 2:3 - And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women ; and let their things for purification be given them:
ויפקד המלך פקידים בכל־מדינות מלכותו ויקבצו את־כל־נערה־בתולה טובת מראה אל־שׁושׁן הבירה אל־בית הנשׁים אל־יד הגא סריס המלך שׁמר הנשׁים ונתון תמרוקיהן - 2 Chronicles 14 4:16 - The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.
ואת־הסירות ואת־היעים ואת־המזלגות ואת־כל־כליהם עשׂה חורם אביו למלך שׁלמה לבית יהוה נחשׁת מרוק - Esther 17 2:9 - And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him ; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house : and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
ותיטב הנערה בעיניו ותשׂא חסד לפניו ויבהל את־תמרוקיה ואת־מנותה לתת לה ואת שׁבע הנערות הראיות לתת־לה מבית המלך וישׁנה ואת־נערותיה לטוב בית הנשׁים - Esther 17 2:12 - Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women,
ובהגיע תר נערה ונערה לבוא אל־המלך אחשׁורושׁ מקץ היות לה כדת הנשׁים שׁנים עשׂר חדשׁ כי כן ימלאו ימי מרוקיהן שׁשׁה חדשׁים בשׁמן המר ושׁשׁה חדשׁים בבשׂמים ובתמרוקי הנשׁים
