- Numbers 4 27:2 - And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying ,
ותעמדנה לפני משׁה ולפני אלעזר הכהן ולפני הנשׂיאם וכל־העדה פתח אהל־מועד לאמר - Genesis 1 25:16 - These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles ; twelve princes according to their nations.
אלה הם בני ישׁמעאל ואלה שׁמתם בחצריהם ובטירתם שׁנימ־עשׂר נשׂיאם לאמתם - Genesis 1 17:20 - And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee : Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful , and will multiply him exceedingly ; twelve princes shall he beget , and I will make him a great nation.
ולישׁמעאל שׁמעתיך הנה ברכתי אתו והפריתי אתו והרביתי אתו במאד מאד שׁנימ־עשׂר נשׂיאם יוליד ונתתיו לגוי גדול - Numbers 4 7:10 - And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed , even the princes offered their offering before the altar.
ויקריבו הנשׂאים את חנכת המזבח ביום המשׁח אתו ויקריבו הנשׂיאם את־קרבנם לפני המזבח
