- Jeremiah 24 17:4 - And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
ושׁמטתה ובך מנחלתך אשׁר נתתי לך והעבדתיך את־איביך בארץ אשׁר לא־ידעת כי־אשׁ קדחתם באפי עד־עולם תוקד - Leviticus 3 6:13 - The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar ; it shall never go out .
אשׁ תמיד תוקד על־המזבח לא תכבה אֵשׁ Burning, fiery, fire, f.. תָּמִיד Alway(-s), continual (e.. יָקַד (be) burn(-ing), × from.. [8714] מִזְבֵּחַ Altar כָּבָה Go (put) out, quench [8799] - Jeremiah 24 15:14 - And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
והעברתי את־איביך בארץ לא ידעת כי־אשׁ קדחה באפי עליכם תוקד - Leviticus 3 6:12 - And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out : and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
והאשׁ על־המזבח תוקד־בו לא תכבה ובער עליה הכהן עצים בבקר בבקר וערך עליה העלה והקטיר עליה חלבי השׁלמים - Leviticus 3 6:9 - Command Aaron and his sons, saying , This is the law of the burnt offering : It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
צו את־אהרן ואת־בניו לאמר זאת תורת העלה הוא העלה על מוקדה על־המזבח כל־הלילה עד־הבקר ואשׁ המזבח תוקד בו
