- Jeremiah 24 3:8 - And I saw , when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away , and given her a bill of divorce ; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
וארא כי על־כל־אדות אשׁר נאפה משׁבה ישׂראל שׁלחתיה ואתן את־ספר כריתתיה אליה ולא יראה בגדה יהודה אחותה ותלך ותזן גמ־היא - Genesis 1 26:32 - And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants came , and told him concerning the well which they had digged , and said unto him, We have found water.
