- 2 Samuel 10 12:4 - And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
ויבא הלך לאישׁ העשׁיר ויחמל לקחת מצאנו ומבקרו לעשׂות לארח הבא־לו ויקח את־כבשׂת האישׁ הראשׁ ויעשׂה לאישׁ הבא אליו - Numbers 4 32:5 - Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.
ויאמרו אמ־מצאנו חן בעיניך יתן את־הארץ הזאת לעבדיך לאחזה אל־תעברנו את־הירדן - Lamentations 25 2:16 - All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth : they say , We have swallowed her up : certainly this is the day that we looked for ; we have found , we have seen it.
