- Nehemiah 16 9:8 - And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words ; for thou art righteous :
ומצאת את־לבבו נאמן לפניך וכרות עמו הברית לתת את־ארץ הכנעני החתי האמרי והפרזי והיבוסי והגרגשׁי לתת לזרעו ותקם את־דבריך כי צדיק אתה - 1 Kings 11 8:39 - Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive , and do , and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest ;
ואתה תשׁמע השׁמים מכון שׁבתך וסלחת ועשׂית ונתת לאישׁ ככל־דרכיו אשׁר תדע את־לבבו כי־אתה ידעת לבדך את־לבב כל־בני האדם - 1 Kings 11 11:4 - For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods : and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
ויהי לעת זקנת שׁלמה נשׁיו הטו את־לבבו אחרי אלהים אחרים ולא־היה לבבו שׁלם עמ־יהוה אלהיו כלבב דויד אביו - 2 Chronicles 14 36:13 - And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God : but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
וגם במלך נבוכדנאצר מרד אשׁר השׁביעו באלהים ויקשׁ את־ערפו ויאמץ את־לבבו משׁוב אל־יהוה אלהי ישׂראל - Deuteronomy 5 2:30 - But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate , that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
