- 1 Samuel 9 12:6 - And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
ויאמר שׁמואל אל־העם יהוה אשׁר עשׂה את־משׁה ואת־אהרן ואשׁר העלה את־אבתיכם מארץ מצרים - 1 Samuel 9 12:8 - When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
כאשׁר־בא יעקב מצרים ויזעקו אבותיכם אל־יהוה וישׁלח יהוה את־משׁה ואת־אהרן ויוציאו את־אבתיכם ממצרים וישׁבום במקום הזה - 2 Kings 12 17:13 - Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying , Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
