- Ecclesiastes 21 2:15 - Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me ; and why was I then more wise ? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.
ואמרתי אני בלבי כמקרה הכסיל גמ־אני יקרני ולמה חכמתי אני אז יותר ודברתי בלבי שׁגמ־זה הבל - Jeremiah 24 35:14 - The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed ; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment : notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking ; but ye hearkened not unto me.
