- Judges 7 21:10 - And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest , and commanded them, saying , Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.
וישׁלחו־שׁם העדה שׁנימ־עשׂר אלף אישׁ מבני החיל ויצוו אותם לאמר לכו והכיתם את־יושׁבי יבשׁ גלעד לפי־חרב והנשׁים והטף - Numbers 4 25:17 - Vex the Midianites, and smite them:
צרור את־המדינים והכיתם אותם צָרַר Adversary, (be in) affl.. [8800] מִדְיָנִי Midianite נָכָה Beat, cast forth, clap,.. [8689] - Deuteronomy 5 7:2 - And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
