- Genesis 1 47:28 - And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years : so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.
ויחי יעקב בארץ מצרים שׁבע עשׂרה שׁנה ויהי ימי־יעקב שׁני חייו שׁבע שׁנים וארבעים ומאת שׁנה - Judges 7 16:30 - And Samson said , Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might ; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.
ויאמר שׁמשׁון תמות נפשׁי עמ־פלשׁתים ויט בכח ויפל הבית על־הסרנים ועל־כל־העם אשׁר־בו ויהיו המתים אשׁר המית במותו רבים מאשׁר המית בחייו - 1 Samuel 9 1:11 - And she vowed a vow, and said , O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
ותדר נדר ותאמר יהוה צבאות אמ־ראה תראה בעני אמתך וזכרתני ולא־תשׁכח את־אמתך ונתתה לאמתך זרע אנשׁים ונתתיו ליהוה כל־ימי חייו ומורה לא־יעלה על־ראשׁו - 1 Kings 11 11:34 - Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand : but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose , because he kept my commandments and my statutes :
ולא־אקח את־כל־הממלכה מידו כי נשׂיא אשׁתנו כל ימי חייו למען דוד עבדי אשׁר בחרתי אתו אשׁר שׁמר מצותי וחקתי - 1 Kings 11 4:21 - And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt : they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
