- Psalms 19 106:24 - Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word :
וימאסו בארץ חמדה לא־האמינו לדברו מָאַס Abhor, cast away (off),.. [8799] חֶמְדָּה Desire, goodly, pleasan.. אֶרֶץ earth × common, country, eart.. אָמַן Hence, assurance, belie.. [8689] דָּבָר Act, advice, affair, an.. - Isaiah 23 31:7 - For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
כי ביום ההוא ימאסון אישׁ אלילי כספו ואלילי זהבו אשׁר עשׂו לכם ידיכם חטא - Jeremiah 24 6:19 - Hear , O earth : behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
שׁמעי הארץ הנה אנכי מביא רעה אל־העם הזה פרי מחשׁבותם כי על־דברי לא הקשׁיבו ותורתי וימאסו־בה - 2 Kings 12 17:15 - And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain , and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.
וימאסו את־חקיו ואת־בריתו אשׁר כרת את־אבותם ואת עדותיו אשׁר העיד בם וילכו אחרי ההבל ויהבלו ואחרי הגוים אשׁר סביבתם אשׁר צוה יהוה אתם לבלתי עשׂות כהם - Psalms 19 58:7 - Let them melt away as waters which run continually : when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces .
