- Job 18 2:11 - Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place ; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite : for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
וישׁמעו שׁלשׁת רעי איוב את כל־הרעה הזאת הבאה עליו ויבאו אישׁ ממקמו אליפז התימני ובלדד השׁוחי וצופר הנעמתי ויועדו יחדו לבוא לנוד־לו ולנחמו - 1 Chronicles 13 7:22 - And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.
ויתאבל אפרים אביהם ימים רבים ויבאו אחיו לנחמו - Genesis 1 37:35 - And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted ; and he said , For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.
ויקמו כל־בניו וכל־בנתיו לנחמו וימאן להתנחם ויאמר כי־ארד אל־בני אבל שׁאלה ויבך אתו אביו - 1 Chronicles 13 19:2 - And David said , I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.
ויאמר דויד אעשׂה־חסד עמ־חנון בנ־נחשׁ כי־עשׂה אביו עמי חסד וישׁלח דויד מלאכים לנחמו על־אביו ויבאו עבדי דויד אל־ארץ בני־עמון אל־חנון לנחמו - 2 Samuel 10 10:2 - Then said David, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father shewed kindness unto me. And David sent to comfort him by the hand of his servants for his father. And David's servants came into the land of the children of Ammon.
