- 1 Samuel 9 10:11 - And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish ? Is Saul also among the prophets ?
ויהי כל־יודעו מאתמול שׁלשׁום ויראו והנה עמ־נבאים נבא ויאמר העם אישׁ אל־רעהו מה־זה היה לבנ־קישׁ הגם שׁאול בנביאים - Ruth 8 2:11 - And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband : and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore .
ויען בעז ויאמר לה הגד הגד לי כל אשׁר־עשׂית את־חמותך אחרי מות אישׁך ותעזבי אביך ואמך וארץ מולדתך ותלכי אל־עם אשׁר לא־ידעת תמול שׁלשׁום - 2 Kings 12 13:5 -
ויתן יהוה לישׂראל מושׁיע ויצאו מתחת יד־ארם וישׁבו בני־ישׂראל באהליהם כתמול שׁלשׁום - Isaiah 23 30:33 - For Tophet is ordained of old ; yea, for the king it is prepared ; he hath made it deep and large : the pile thereof is fire and much wood ; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.
כי־ערוך מאתמול תפתה גמ־הוא למלך הוכן העמיק הרחב מדרתה אשׁ ועצים הרבה נשׁמת יהוה כנחל גפרית בערה בה - Exodus 2 5:8 - And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore , ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle ; therefore they cry , saying , Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
