- 2 Samuel 10 18:6 - So the people went out into the field against Israel : and the battle was in the wood of Ephraim ;
ויצא העם השׂדה לקראת ישׂראל ותהי המלחמה ביער אפרים - 1 Samuel 9 17:55 - And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth ? And Abner said , As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell .
וכראות שׁאול את־דוד יצא לקראת הפלשׁתי אמר אל־אבנר שׂר הצבא בנ־מי־זה הנער אבנר ויאמר אבנר חי־נפשׁך המלך אמ־ידעתי - Isaiah 23 7:14 - Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign ; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel .
לכן יתן אדני הוא לכם אות הנה העלמה הרה וילדת בן וקראת שׁמו עמנו אל - Deuteronomy 5 31:29 - For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days ; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
