- 1 Chronicles 13 23:4 - Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD ; and six thousand were officers and judges :
מאלה לנצח על־מלאכת בית־יהוה עשׂרים וארבעה אלף ושׁטרים ושׁפטים שׁשׁת אלפים - Numbers 4 35:5 - And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits ; and the city shall be in the midst : this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.
ומדתם מחוץ לעיר את־פאת־קדמה אלפים באמה ואת־פאת־נגב אלפים באמה ואת־פאת־ים אלפים באמה ואת פאת צפון אלפים באמה והעיר בתוך זה יהיה להם מגרשׁי הערים - Exodus 2 18:25 - And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
ויבחר משׁה אנשׁי־חיל מכל־ישׂראל ויתן אתם ראשׁים על־העם שׂרי אלפים שׂרי מאות שׂרי חמשׁים ושׂרי עשׂרת - 1 Chronicles 13 18:4 - And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen : David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.
וילכד דויד ממנו אלף רכב ושׁבעת אלפים פרשׁים ועשׂרים אלף אישׁ רגלי ויעקר דויד את־כל־הרכב ויותר ממנו מאה רכב - Judges 7 4:6 - And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded , saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun ?
