- Zechariah 38 14:15 - And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
וכן תהיה מגפת הסוס הפרד הגמל והחמור וכל־הבהמה אשׁר יהיה במחנות ההמה כמגפה הזאת - 2 Samuel 10 17:9 - Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some other place : and it will come to pass, when some of them be overthrown at the first, that whosoever heareth it will say , There is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.
הנה עתה הוא־נחבא באחת הפחתים או באחד המקומת והיה כנפל בהם בתחלה ושׁמע השׁמע ואמר היתה מגפה בעם אשׁר אחרי אבשׁלם - 1 Chronicles 13 21:22 - Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD : thou shalt grant it me for the full price : that the plague may be stayed from the people.
ויאמר דויד אל־ארנן תנה־לי מקום הגרן ואבנה־בו מזבח ליהוה בכסף מלא תנהו לי ותעצר המגפה מעל העם - 2 Samuel 10 24:21 - And Araunah said , Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant ? And David said , To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
ויאמר ארונה מדוע בא אדני־המלך אל־עבדו ויאמר דוד לקנות מעמך את־הגרן לבנות מזבח ליהוה ותעצר המגפה מעל העם - 1 Samuel 9 4:17 - And the messenger answered and said , Israel is fled before the Philistines, and there hath been also a great slaughter among the people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead , and the ark of God is taken .
ויען המבשׂר ויאמר נס ישׂראל לפני פלשׁתים וגם מגפה גדולה היתה בעם וגמ־שׁני בניך מתו חפני ופינחס וארון האלהים נלקחה
