- 1 Samuel 9 31:4 - Then said Saul unto his armourbearer , Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through , and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid . Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
ויאמר שׁאול לנשׂא כליו שׁלף חרבך ודקרני בה פנ־יבואו הערלים האלה ודקרני והתעללו־בי ולא אבה נשׂא כליו כי ירא מאד ויקח שׁאול את־החרב ויפל עליה - 1 Corinthians 46 9:18 - What is my reward then ? Verily that, when I preach the gospel , I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
