- 2 Kings 12 22:8 - And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe , I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
ויאמר חלקיהו הכהן הגדול על־שׁפן הספר ספר התורה מצאתי בבית יהוה ויתן חלקיה את־הספר אל־שׁפן ויקראהו - Nehemiah 16 8:9 - And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe , and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God ; mourn not, nor weep . For all the people wept , when they heard the words of the law.
