- Joshua 6 19:49 - When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
ויכלו לנחל־את־הארץ לגבולתיה ויתנו בני־ישׂראל נחלה ליהושׁע בנ־נון בתוכם - Deuteronomy 5 31:23 - And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge , and said , Be strong and of a good courage : for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
ויצו את־יהושׁע בנ־נון ויאמר חזק ואמץ כי אתה תביא את־בני ישׂראל אל־הארץ אשׁר־נשׁבעתי להם ואנכי אהיה עמך - Numbers 4 13:16 - These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.
